When calculating the quantity of PS decorative moldings, it is generally divided into two main categories.
For moldings such as window sills, door and window frames, cornices, and waistlines, with an unfolded width of 200mm or less, the quantity is calculated by linear meter based on the actual number installed. If the unfolded width exceeds 200mm, there are two scenarios:
1. Under normal circumstances, it is calculated based on the unfolded area excluding the adhesive surface as shown in the drawing, or the sum of the three sides of a rectangle.
2. If the wall structure requires EPS moldings for filling, and the hidden surface of the EPS filling material (including the adhesive surface) exceeds 1/2 of the outer unfolded area, then it is calculated as 3/4 of the outer unfolded area of that molding type.
For irregularly shaped components such as Roman column capitals, balustrade capitals, arcs, pattern splicing, corner protectors, and column clasps, due to their diverse shapes, high technical requirements, and difficult installation, the quantity is generally calculated by multiplying the unfolded area of the decorative outer surface of the product by a coefficient of 2.2
